Sakura， Sasuke， and Naruto have a difficult time protecting their scroll and securing some else’s。 Orochimaru takes an odd liking to Sasuke。 Sakura must protect the boys from other teams attempting to harm them。 Orochimaru gives me the chills and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to see more of him。 I don’t want him to hurt Sasuke though。

I'm not going to say much， but it was overall okay。The ending was good， it showed Sakura's and Ino's relationship before Sasuke got in the way， and Sakura got to understand that Naruto isn't just some 'annoying' brat。Aside from Sakura， the rest was meh。 I felt forced to read it during the middle of the book， and this volume was mostly forgettable except for the ending。 I'm not going to say much， but it was overall okay。The ending was good， it showed Sakura's and Ino's relationship before Sasuke got in the way， and Sakura got to understand that Naruto isn't just some 'annoying' brat。Aside from Sakura， the rest was meh。 I felt forced to read it during the middle of the book， and this volume was mostly forgettable except for the ending。 。。。more

Introduction of Orochimaru was amazing It just makes me love Naruto more and it spices up the Chunin exams also putting the genin in the forest of death takes things to another level not to mention the mystery of the sound ninja。Read Naruto and go watch it when you done。

The Chunin exams are really throwing a lot of stuff at us， and Kishimoto does a great job of balancing everyone。 First Sasuke takes the lead， understanding survival tactics and espionage that's so important。 Then Naruto gets his chance to show off his greatest power- being too stupid to recognize that an enemy is too powerful for him and being just strong enough to catch that enemy off guard。 And， of course， Sakura gets her moment to shine too！ For someone so boy-obsessed， who spends most of her The Chunin exams are really throwing a lot of stuff at us， and Kishimoto does a great job of balancing everyone。 First Sasuke takes the lead， understanding survival tactics and espionage that's so important。 Then Naruto gets his chance to show off his greatest power- being too stupid to recognize that an enemy is too powerful for him and being just strong enough to catch that enemy off guard。 And， of course， Sakura gets her moment to shine too！ For someone so boy-obsessed， who spends most of her time crying over what the other two are doing， she finally gets a chance to show off her own skills and it's great。 She's not the best fighter， of course， but she's smart and she can tough it out when she needs to。There's also the introduction of "Orochimaru"， who will go on to become a larger antagonist in the scope of the series， providing a bigger mystery to the story than whatever the main plot of each particular arc is。 Who is he？ Why is he interfering with our main trio？ What are his lasting effects on our characters？ As we get hints of his history with Konoha， and how he's a proper VILLAIN and not just an antagonist， the series gets much creepier。 Zabuza was a villain， of course， but he was very much the hired hand。 Orochimaru has his own plans。I also love that our characters are finding new ways to show off techniques from previous volumes！ During the Zabuza arc we had our characters learning to concentrate chakra in their feet to climb trees， and this volume has Sasuke use the same technique to catch kunai thrown at him。 Naruto has been in a few fights where he had to use clones creatively， and this volume has him calling back on his prior experiences to find new ways to get out of traps。We get a hint of backstory for Sasuke， we get some backstory for Sakura， we get better aquainted with characters like Rock Lee and Ino Yamanaka， and we get to see some of these "sound" ninja who have completely new styles of techniques。 This volume has a lot of everything and reminds me why I like tournament arcs so much， the creators get to show off all these cool new concepts and flesh out characters who never have much screentime for the main plot。 。。。more

Idk why Sakura is so infatuated with Sasuke— whose personality is equivalent to that of a dry ice—when Rock Lee is right there in front of her？！！ I mean， the guy just expressed his willingness to die in order to save you？ Come ooonn！ He is my favorite character so far！ What a super cool dude。Anyway， this has great action and plot so far although I don't like how the worldbuilding and the whole jutsu stuff still causes confusion。 I hope it becomes more clearer as I read along。The moment Sakura cu Idk why Sakura is so infatuated with Sasuke— whose personality is equivalent to that of a dry ice—when Rock Lee is right there in front of her？！！ I mean， the guy just expressed his willingness to die in order to save you？ Come ooonn！ He is my favorite character so far！ What a super cool dude。Anyway， this has great action and plot so far although I don't like how the worldbuilding and the whole jutsu stuff still causes confusion。 I hope it becomes more clearer as I read along。The moment Sakura cut her hair was epic， it reminded me of a particular scene with Yona （from Yona of the Dawn） so I can't help but think maybe this is where it was loosely inspired idk。I'm really enjoying this and I can tell a lot of things are about to get complicated starting from this volume。 Orochimaru， one of the main villains， if my memory serves me right， has finally made his first appearance in all his snake ass creepiness。 There is too much nostalgia and excitement as I'm reading and I'm hoping I won't get bored because man， there is a lot of volume in this series so I guess it will involve massive developments in plot and characters so I will keep my hopes up。p。s。 I sincerely wish the tbr gods doesn't punish me for my sudden partiality towards mangas 。。。more

4/5 The Chunin exams continue in the Forest of Death。 We get a pretty action packed volume here and more importantly we get to see more character development for Sakura。 That has been missing since the series started and it's good to finally see。This volume also introduces Orochimaru who is one of the big bads for the series。 Orochimaru has infiltrated the exam but for what reasons。 It's also revealed he's not working alone in The Forest of Death。Some solid fights and action make the volume dece 4/5 The Chunin exams continue in the Forest of Death。 We get a pretty action packed volume here and more importantly we get to see more character development for Sakura。 That has been missing since the series started and it's good to finally see。This volume also introduces Orochimaru who is one of the big bads for the series。 Orochimaru has infiltrated the exam but for what reasons。 It's also revealed he's not working alone in The Forest of Death。Some solid fights and action make the volume decent but the scenes with Sakura and Rock Lee make it better。Sakura and Ino on the cover this time。Read 3/24/21 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Naruto #6， through all the difficulty and hard work， Naruto and his team finally pass the chunin exam， but that was just a beginning， now they have to face stage 2 of the chunin exam， which is 1 v 1， because Sasuke got injured during stage 1， this became extreme difficult for him。 After stage 1， everyone was super tired from the fight already， now they have to do stage 2 immediately， will Naruto and his team successfully pass the test？
